Duties:
- Teach two sections of Woodworking.
- Teach one section of "Intro to Carpentry"
Skills:
- Fabricate and maintain wooden structures and components
- Use various woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, mark, and cut wood according to specified dimensions
- Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces to achieve desired appearance
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks on finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Proficient in woodworking techniques and knowledge of different types of wood
- Ability to operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during fabrication process
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
