Our funeral home is seeking an addition to our professional team. We are currently looking for a funeral home support, and transfer technician. This is an ideal position for someone interested in gaining funeral home experience and serving our community.
This position includes mortuary transfers which entails utilizing our vehicles and equipment to bring decedents into our care from the place of death. It also includes record keeping task, answering phones, supporting the funeral directors, and greeting families.
The right candidate will bring professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to learn. Transfers require strength, particularly upper body strength so candidates must be able to lift 100 lbs without assistance or restrictions.
We are a full-service funeral home and crematory. We tailor each arrangement to the family's personal needs.
This is a part-time position. As death is untimely, this position will require working on-call some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties
Duties will include:
-Transfers (bringing decedents into our care) during office hours as well as some nights and some weekends (Nights and Weekends paid per call)
-Greeting families
-Clerical / compliance tasks
-Assisting the funeral director
-Cleanliness and occasional light janitorial
