We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at our Guilford office. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Assist with the preparation of patient care plans by collecting relevant information from clients.
- Maintain the organization of medical files and documents for easy access by staff.
- Coordinate with therapists regarding patient appointments and any special requirements.
- Process insurance information and verify coverage for services provided.
- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and schedules.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
