What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Teacher - Childcare, Per Diem position at Cheshire Medical Center?
Associate Teachers (regular or substitutes) help to create a warm, caring and safe environment to support children and teachers in ways that improve the overall quality of care and education. Position Requirements: Minimum of 9 Credits in ECE (3 credits must be in Child Growth and Development, (prefer 12 credits in ECE with a minimum of one year experience with age group), must be at least 18 years of age, First Aid and CPR certification, complete 18 hours of in-service professional development every 12 month period (as per NH Child Care program Licensing Rules), and a valid driver's license to drive children with a five year history of safe driving (must be 21 years of age). Specific skills and/or knowledge needed are: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization, and add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. **Please submit an unofficial transcript with application submission.
