What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Plumber- Facilities position at Cheshire Medical Center?
Under the direction of the Chief Facilities Engineer, the Master Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of hospital plumbing facilities. this position Installs, maintains and repairs numerous refrigeration and air conditioning systems and equipment and performs these tasks within all applicable codes. Responsibilities include assisting Power Plant Coordination in scheduling of staff and workload as needed and to provide necessary coverage of the plant operations and assisting in the design of new plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning systems and power plant systems. Must have a Master Plumbing License. High School diploma or GED required. At least five years of trade experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified and two years refrigeration/air conditioning experience required.
