Position Summary:
This inventory control specialist is responsible for all functions relating to the receiving, storing and inventory control of all raw materials, packaging as well as finished product used in the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accuracy of our inventory utilizing the Ross ERP Software
A. Finished goods
B. Cold storage products
C. Raw Materials
D. Packaging materials
- Schedules and revises material replenishment plans to ensure purchased materials are available to meet internal demand.
- Coordinating the inbound and outbound cold storage inventory
- Coordinating the semi-annual finished goods inventories
- Auditing product rotation to ensure that a “first in, first out” inventory flow is met
- Interacting and working with Production, Shipping, Customer Service, and Purchasing Management
- Assisting in the development of a state of the art Inventory Control System
- Performs and assures all duties are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Performs other job related duties in area of responsibility as assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Employee will perform job duties in a manufacturing environment and must be comfortable with daily exposure to noise, dust, and variation in temperature ranging from 60-100 degrees.
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, twist, and turn over an 8 hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

2. Responsible to Warehouse Manager
A. Responsible to Warehouse policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Forklift certified or forklift experience capable of being certified.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on top of a full skid.
Education:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Needs to have acquired 1-3 years related experience and/ or training. Equivalent combination or education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to perform basic computer skills in Microsoft: Excel, Access, and Word are preferred.
Ability to perform basic math calculations- Add, subtract, multiply, divide.
Timeliness and quality of work.
