- Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred

- Computer and current technology knowledge required
- Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire)
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Assist with planning and implementation of supplemental educational programs
- Assist with regular communication with participating students' parents, teachers, guidance counselors and administrators, as necessary
- Assist with facilitation of the involvement of parents in the education of their children and in the dissemination of information, using translation/interpretation services, as needed
- Assist with the planning and implementation of parent involvement activities within the 21st Century Community Learning Center program

- 10 - 13 yrs experience = $20.16

- 18 - 21 yrs experience = $23.78
- 22 - 25 yrs experience = $23.78
- Bachelor's degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale = $18.35

At the present time, vacancies exist for Instructional Assistants within the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program, Student Services Division of the CCIU. Currently, there are multiple openings working with pre-k, elementary, middle, and/or high school-aged students, and supporting English Language Learners and/or academic support students. These positions are temporary for the duration of the summer ONLY.
