- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances required if 18 years of age or older
- Current high school student or beyond.
- Experience in cleaning.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts in the performance of routine assignments.
- Ability to apply sound judgment to resolve conflicts and solve problems.
- Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and the school community.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Work at the direction of other Information Technology employees to clean computers used by our CCIU students and returned for the summer for cleaning, repair, staging.
- Must be able to carefully follow written directions to clean computers, asking questions as needed.
- Must be able to document the progress of work using paper and online checklists.
- Must be able to clean computers at a rate designated acceptable by the Director of Technology Support and Systems Architecture.
- Protect the confidentiality of users, customers and organization data.
- Must be an independent and reliable worker.
- Demonstrate adequate communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Report and be accountable to the Director of Technology Support and Systems Architecture or the assigned designee.
- Must be able to perform duties as well and carefully the first time as the last time.

At the present time, two Summer Maintenance positions exist within the Division of Information Technology of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The successful candidate will perform cleaning of laptops and other devices used by students in our online schools and programs as well as perform other tasks as required and assigned throughout the department. Document work as required and perform cleaning to the level acceptable in the department.
