What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Student Workers- Preschool Special Education Instructional Assistants position at Chester County Intermediate Unit?
- Responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills as directed by the classroom teacher
- Performing duties as directed by the teacher
- Duties may include 1:1 instruction and small group instruction
- Toileting and other basic care
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. May include positioning of students with physical disabilities. The weight and ability of students requiring assistance may vary greatly, all students are 3-6 years old.
- Dates: July 7th-July 31st
- Weekdays: Monday-Thursday
- Hours: 7.5 hours/day (8 AM -3:30 PM)

Qualifications:
Current high school student
Current police, child abuse and FBI fingerprint clearances required (if age 18 or over.)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
