- Master's degree strongly preferred
- PA Supervisor of Special Education or Principal certification, or current enrollment in a program to obtain Supervisor of Special Education certification required
- PA Special Education Teacher Certification PK-12, PK-8, or 7-12 required
- Previous experience working as a Supervisor strongly preferred
- Experience working within Special Education required
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of state and federal laws and guidelines regarding special education required
- Technical experience required includes federal and state special education law, staff development, supervision and leadership, state and federal budget development and management, curriculum and assessment, and interagency collaboration required
- Vaild Driver's License & access to reliable transportation required
- Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances within 1 year required

These positions are temporary with an expected start date of July 1st, 2025 and anticipated end dates of June 30th, 2026. Extensions are possible, but are not guaranteed.

Summary & Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Supervisor will provide leadership with the contracting LEA/district in the area of special education supervisory services. The Supervisor will provide leadership in the areas of special education staffing and programming. The position requires extensive liaison with varied education-based agencies at the state and local level.
This position is designed to build competency in the area of the special education supervisory responsibilities. The position is primairly designed to be contracted out to requesting districts, charters and other educational agencies and requires the Supervisor to be flexible in meeting contracting LEAs/Districts major areas of need.

Administrators, Band F: $118,603 - $148,253/yr.
*Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role.*
