What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant (On-site Training) position at Chester Eye Center?
Our optometric practice is looking for an energetic, hard-working and outgoing individual to fulfill our full-time optometric assistant position. This position is scheduled to work 36 hours per week in our Chillicothe location (includes Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to Noon with 1 day off during the week). Duties include but are not limited to performance of doctor ordered tests, assisting doctor during examination, selection and dispensing of frames, lenses and contact lenses as well as instruction of contact lens use. Previous experience in an optometry or ophthalmology practice is NOT required for this position. Benefits: Group health insurance plan, pension plan, paid vacation and sick leave.
