Chester Pool Systems is seeking a dynamic Assistant Project Manager to support the design, fabrication and installation of aquatic vessels for world-class real estate developments. This individual will assist with decision-making and collaboration between internal teams, general contractors, design teams, related trades and other stakeholders to deliver project success.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with an eagerness to learn and master varied disciplines including engineer-to-order manufacturing, prefab construction, pool operations and project management. You have professional experience delivering for exacting clients and apply a rigorous approach to even small tasks. Exposure to manufacturing, construction or project management is preferred, but not required for candidates with the right skill set.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support to the Project Manager for multiple aspects of the project including progress tracking, RFI’s and Submittals
- Manage a subset of a project, such as a particular phase or deliverable
- Facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
- Gain proficiency in various types of construction drawings
- Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials to meet project requirements
- Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Prepare project reports, take meeting minutes, and ensure timely distribution
- Organize meetings, maintain project files, update project documentation
- Occasional travel to project sites across USA
