Job Summary :
Wynns Grain and Spice is looking for a skilled Promac Software Operator to oversee the palletizing operations within our production facility. This position is responsible for utilizing Promac software to control and monitor the palletizing process, ensuring that products are properly arranged, packed, and shipped according to production requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation software, specifically Promac, and a deep understanding of efficient palletizing methods.
Key Responsibilities :
Promac Software Operation : Operate Promac software to control automated palletizing equipment. Ensure the software is functioning properly to meet production goals and packaging standards.
Palletizing Operations : Oversee the palletizing process, ensuring that products are stacked and organized correctly on pallets for shipping or storage. Monitor the palletizer machine to ensure it operates efficiently and without interruptions.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Monitor Promac software to detect and resolve issues related to palletizing equipment, including system malfunctions, software glitches, or palletizing irregularities.
Production Coordination : Collaborate with production teams to align palletizing operations with overall production goals. Ensure timely and accurate pallet formation to avoid bottlenecks in the shipping or storage process.
Quality Control & Safety : Ensure the palletizing process adheres to quality standards and safety protocols. Monitor for product damage during palletizing and ensure compliance with industry and company regulations.
Data Management & Reporting : Maintain accurate logs of palletizing operations, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
System Optimization : Continuously analyze and suggest improvements for the palletizing process and Promac software usage.
Collaboration : Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of Promac software with other automation systems.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Industrial Automation, or a related field preferred.
Experience :
Previous experience using Promac software or similar automation systems (e.g., palletizing robots, control systems).
Hands-on experience with palletizing processes in a production or warehouse environment.
Skills :
Familiarity with Promac software and its integration with automated systems.
Strong understanding of palletizing techniques and machinery, including robotics, conveyors, and stackers.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Certifications : Any relevant certifications in automation, robotics, or industrial systems are a plus.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
Willingness to work in shifts, or weekends if required.
