Job Summary
Chester Academy is seeking a highly skilled School Counselor or Social Worker to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be a vital member of our Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Team, responsible for supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to build a positive school environment
- Implement preventative programs to support student success
- Deliver classroom lessons and small group and individual skill building interventions
- Contribute to planning and delivering school-wide initiatives and interventions
- Serve as a member of the school's crisis response team
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Principal
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Related Field
- School Counselor, School/Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor preferred
- NH Educator Certification as a School Counselor (0040), School Social Worker (0049) or Statement of Eligibility
- Experience working with schools, in school settings, or with school-age students preferred
