Bartender

Chester Valley Golf Club is looking for experienced bartenders who are self-driven, work well as a part of a team, are flexible and eager to learn, and who take initiative on a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Serve Beverages: Accurately and consistently prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to standard recipes and ensuring quality.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Greet members and guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and deliver prompt and courteous service.
• Maintain Bar Area: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, ensuring a pleasant and efficient working environment.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations, promoting responsible alcohol service and maintaining a safe and legal operating environment.
• Contribute to a Positive Atmosphere: Contribute to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a positive experience for members and guests.
• Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction and communicate issues and complaints to management.
• Adhere to Standards: Follow all food and safety sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic dining environment. Ensure that all food and beverage products are stored, labeled, dated, rotated, and kept to health code standards.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Hospitality: A genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.
• Bartending Experience: Prior bartending experience is required.
• Knowledge of Mixology: A basic understanding of mixology techniques and a passion for learning new recipes and trends.
• Strong Communication Skills: The ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and colleagues, fostering positive relationships.
• Teamwork and Flexibility: The ability to work well as part of a team, adapt to changing situations, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Abide by Policies: Assure all club, local, and state policies and procedures are strictly followed.
• System Familiarity: Basic knowledge of POS (Jonas preferred).
