Job Description: We are seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team at Chesterbrook Academy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating and managing learning environments that foster student growth and development. Your responsibilities will include participating in activities that promote student achievement, collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure the well-being of the school and its community, and maintaining compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services
- High School Diploma or GED AND at least two years of experience working with children
