Job Title: Part-Time Assistant Teacher
Join Chesterbrook Academy, a part of Spring Education Group's Early Childhood Education Division, which operates nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. About the Role
As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will help create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. You will work collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
Responsibilities
- Provides and maintains quality education programs.
- Ensures successful implementation of approved curriculum.
- Maintains compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED AND at least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field.
- High School Diploma or GED AND 15 relevant credits (or CDA) with at least 1 year of experience with children.
- High School Diploma or GED AND at least two years of experience with children.
