What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Chesterfield County?
High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge of drainage maintenance operations and equipment usage/operation to include hydroseeder, brush chipper, chain saw, tamper, weed trimmer, and hand tools. Ability to swim preferred. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required. Maintenance of county stormwater facilities including ditch cleaning, downed tree removal, grass and brush cutting in county maintained drainage easements. Perform other work as required.
