What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Automation Analyst position at Chesterfield County?
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field; three years of experience in the implementation of business information systems; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Considerable knowledge of computer technology concepts and principles of automated office systems.
Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Responsible for collaborating with IST and systems application vendors as needed to manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated information systems. Manages all reported system bugs including troubleshooting, weekly prioritization with vendors, and conducting or coordinating testing of fixes. Provides criteria for developing queries to extract data from the system databases. Directs vendors on the development of scripts for automating assessments and system processes. Assists with performing tax assessment processes and prepares printing and mailing jobs. Verifies and approves all security access requests and produces reports for special projects. This position is responsible for assisting and training all staff on the use of software or hardware as needed. May act as the project manager/team lead during implementation of new systems and updates to existing systems. Perform other work as required.
Salary : $79,088 - $92,928
