Chesterfield County Human Resources is seeking an experienced individual to initiate and enhance recruitment and retention efforts for county-wide vacancies in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent will serve as a key partner in deploying the County’s recruitment strategy, providing consultation to departments and development of recruitment initiatives and strategies to attract qualified candidates; maintain and manage social media tools and platforms to assist with recruiting and marketing Chesterfield County as an employer of choice; research, identify and recommend best practices for recruitment and alternative staffing strategies; develop and maintain a network of recruitment contacts, resources, and sources to attract qualified candidates; establish partnerships with schools, organizations, and agencies to attract qualified, diverse, competitive applicant pools; brand and market Chesterfield County's image as an employer of choice while attending and hosting various job fairs; maintain HR recruitment metrics and reporting from applicant online system; and perform other work as required.
Duties:
Ability to apply knowledge of the basic principles and practices of human resources administration with emphasis on Recruiting, Recruiting strategy and social media/marketing; knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws and regulations; knowledge of workforce planning. Extensive experience using various employment software, web-based recruiting tools and social media platforms. Experience analyzing and developing statistical reports. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques, good organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies using traditional and social media tools. Ability to interpret, apply and explain human resources policies and procedures; to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality with sensitive and confidential information, records and reports; to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to operate a personal computer and related software and other standard office equipment; to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers. The incumbent in this position may perform other work as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, organizational management, business, public administration, marketing or a related field; four years of experience in a human resources environment with direct recruiting experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Extensive recruiting and social media/marketing experience required. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Salary : $71,395 - $96,382
