JOB DESCRIPTION
PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Under the general guidance and direction of the CEO, provides overall supervision of the operational and administrative functions of the company’s care provision activities.
DETAILED DUTIES
- Plans and supervises home care services to contracted clients;
- Performs Case management functions including preparation of Care Plans and subsequent procedural actions;
- Performs Initial home Visits, and scheduled In-home visits in accordance with strict timelines;
- Undertakes quality staffing and caregiver supervision;
- Ensures compliance with all the regulatory requirements;
- Communicates regularly with Case Managers, clients and caregivers as situation demands;
- Ensures timely response to and satisfactory resolution of Client and caregiver issues;
- Maintain staffing operations and ensures clients are staffed efficiently and within the required timeframe;
- Monitors employee’s attendance and overtime accumulation;
- Monitors the Electronic Timekeeping system daily;
- Coordinates schedules, maintains the data base and ensures the monthly employee/caregiver calendars are updated and provided to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner;
- Process employee vacation requests;
- Ensures that the Data Base is timely filtered and suitably updated;
- Maintains continuous communication with the Program Manager;
- Maintains good communication channels with office staff, clients, caregivers, and case managers;
- Answers phones in a professional and pleasant manner, triage and problem solve in an effective manner;
- Coordinates schedules, maintains the data base and ensures the monthly employee/caregiver calendars are updated and provided to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner;
- Manages phones during after-hours, weekend/holiday times ensuring emergencies are dealt with during the time the office is closed;
- Reviews timesheets and task sheets as necessary for submission to payroll;
- Ensures efficient performance management monitoring and evaluation, overseeing periodic employee training and performance appraisals;
- Ensures that Management reports are completed on time;
- Ensures that Quality Assurance standards are maintained;
- Assists with recruiting and orientation of new caregivers
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
