Job Description
Chesterton Academy of St. Padre Pio seeks to hire qualified, faithful individuals to join our vibrant and growing team. New faculty positions are now open for the 2025/26 school year.Faculty positions are available (full or part-time):
Mathematics - Algebra 1, Geometry
Science - Biology
Humanities - Theology, Spanish
Fine Arts - Drama, Music
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in the subject matter being taught is required; teaching experience or training in classical/liberal arts education is also preferred.
- Exceptional candidates who are transitioning from other careers or recent college graduates will be considered.
- The particular assigned teaching load (full or part time) will depend on the aptitude of the candidate and the school's needs.
- A desire to teach in a variety of disciplines is considered an asset.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in content knowledge, teaching ability, classroom management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills. Accompanying these should be a passion to inspire wonder and excellence in students. In addition to responsibilities as instructors, teachers will play an important role in helping to build a strong culture at the school through their participation in daily Mass, spiritual retreats and other school activities as well as mentorship in the House System and extra-curricular duties such as clubs.
