Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other necessary operations.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
- Provide urgent care and critical care services for injured or ill animals.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians in animal restraint and handling during examinations and procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Commitment to providing high-quality pet care.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
