Job Summary :

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an Intensivist Medical Director to join an existing group in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Leadership experience preferred for Medical Director position
  • Board certified in critical care
  • 24 bed Med / Surg ICU and 10 bed Cardiac ICU
  • 24 / 7 in house physician coverage : 12 hr MD and 12 hr APP day coverage, and 12 hr MD night
  • Average census 20 patients per day
  • Supervise all full or part-time Intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Foster strong relationships with physicians, facility leadership, and clinical staff
  • Develop, implement, and oversee ICC standards and protocols
  • Provide peer support to the Intensivist team members to establish and achieve program initiatives and goals
  • Full Time, 15, 12 hour shifts per month, in addition to administrative responsibilities
