We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician in the Behavioral Health Juvenile Justice program to provide counseling and support services to juveniles and their families. This role is integral in delivering evidence-based interventions, facilitating recovery, and collaborating with court officials and community partners to ensure the best outcomes for at-risk youth. This position will be based in Granite City or Belleville, IL.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. - Complete required data entry and documentation in accordance with program and agency policies.
- Provide juvenile and family-driven services that align with treatment, recovery, and safety plans, including individual, family, and group counseling.
- Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques and behavioral modification strategies to support positive behavioral changes in youth and families.
- Develop and provide educational resources to juveniles and families, offering guidance on behavioral health challenges and coping strategies.
- Promote the recovery model of treatment, incorporating trauma-informed care to foster self-directed recovery.
- Provide factual, strengths-based court testimony that highlights the needs and progress of juveniles and families.
- Foster positive relationships within Chestnut and the community, particularly with court officials and juvenile justice entities.
- Attend and facilitate meetings, juvenile staffings, and program development activities, ensuring compliance with supervision and training requirements.
- Assume leadership roles regularly with minimal oversight, demonstrating initiative and professional expertise.
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Strong background in juvenile behavioral health services preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, email, videoconferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable.
