The region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care seeks integrated outpatient clinicians to work with our clients in Belleville, IL. Position is part-time; daytime hours. Chestnut offers a new salary structure and robust benefits including eligibility for student loan repayment for some positions!
Responsibilities
Help consumers to regain control over their lives through self-directed recovery by providing services identified in treatment / recovery / safety plan, primarily group counseling. Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health / wellness, and spirituality / connectedness. Use evidence-based practices focusing on individual, family, and group therapy. Link clients to community resources including DCFS, probation / parole, courts, medical care, and natural supports. Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community to sustain a favorable program reputation.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ supervised mental health experience and obtain Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) within 2 years of hire; OR have a Bachelor’s degree and CADC in good standing with the State of Illinois. Must be willing to be trained in the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and achieve CRA certification within 3 months following training. Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, Outlook, Teams, email and an electronic medical record (EMR).

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.00 - $22.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to : job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
