Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and assessment evaluations for clients and families, developing personalized treatment plans with oversight as needed.
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using advanced therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's needs.
- Lead skills-based and educational groups to empower clients in their recovery journey.
- Manage all aspects of client admissions, discharges, and continuing care planning.
- Maintain detailed client records and collaborate regularly with external partners, including probation officers and psychiatrists.
- Provide expert court testimony when required.
- Act as a mentor and leader within the clinical team, supervising interns and guiding new clinicians.
- Participate in staff development activities and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification or licensure (or the ability to obtain within two years of hire).
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and insurability.
