Overview
Chestnut Health Systems seeks a skilled MEDICAL CLINICIAN to join our team. As a Medical Clinician, you will provide short-term, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, and SBIRT interventions to clients in an integrated behavioral and primary healthcare setting.
You will engage with clients through walk-in, scheduled appointments, and warm handoffs, helping to reduce barriers to treatment. You will also collaborate with health navigators to address social determinants of health needs and help familiarize primary care staff with what it means to provide behavioral healthcare.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's or doctoral degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, pastoral counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field. You must operate under the direct supervision of an LPHA in the state of Illinois.
You should possess valid drivers' license, private automobile insurance, and the ability to be insurable. Basic computer skills, including MS Word & Excel, videoconferencing, email, and electronic medical records (EMRs), are required.
