Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time Direct Care Staff - Mental Health to work on Saturday evenings from 3:00pm - 11:30pm at one of our southern Illinois facilities.
A shift differential is available for weekend, evening, and overnight hours.
You will assist individuals in increasing their independent living skills, including helping them manage their daily medication.
You will lead groups for those struggling with mental health and substance use issues.

Responsibilities:
- Complete required data entry and paperwork in accordance with program and agency policies and procedures.
- Provide services primarily through IATP, therapy, community support, and medication training and monitoring.
- Perform clinical screenings of new tenant housing referrals when assigned.
- Promote the recovery model of treatment, including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
- Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community.
- Maintain confidentiality of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology, or related human service field.
- Or Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology, or related human service field and be a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).
- Or Master's degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology, or related human service field.
- Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and be insurable.
- Basic computer skills and experience, including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record (EMR).
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $31. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
