OverviewThe region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care seeks integrated outpatient clinicians to work with our clients in Belleville, IL. ResponsibilitiesHelp consumers to regain control over their lives through self-directed recovery by providing services identified in treatment / recovery / safety plan, primarily group counseling. Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health / wellness, and spirituality / connectedness. Use evidence-based practices focusing on individual, family, and group therapy. Link clients to community resources including DCFS, probation / parole, courts, medical care, and natural supports. Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community to sustain a favorable program reputation.QualificationsMust have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ supervised mental health experience and obtain Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) within 2 years of hire; OR have a Bachelor’s degree and CADC in good standing with the State of Illinois. Must be willing to be trained in the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and achieve CRA certification within 3 months following training.
