Responsibilities
- Be part of treatment court team that helps individuals in recovery
- Provide consumer-driven substance use and mental health services (individual, group, and family therapy; skills and educational groups) to adults
- Promote the recovery model of treatment including harm-reduction, trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness.
- Refer and link clients to community resources.
- Demonstrate skill building in evidence based practices such as trauma-informed care (TIC), development stages, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET).
Qualifications
Requires Master's Degree and provisional licensure in Missouri. Must have valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and be insurable. Requires basic computer skills including Office 365 and an electronic medical record.
