The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.00 - $22.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. Responsibilities:
Engage clients in services prior to their treatment. Help individuals to overcome barriers to recovery by addressing obstacles and by monitoring, consulting, and encouraging during the recovery process. Provide stage-appropriate recovery education. Link clients to recovery communities and ancillary services. Develop natural supports and sobriety-based activities to support long-term recovery. Support interventions that are client-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, strengths-based, and evidence-based.

Must have a bachelor’s degree or be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) by becoming a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) or Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC) in good standing with the applicable state; and two years of demonstrated recovery experience and/or engaged in a recovery network, Crisis Intervention Treatment (CIT), policing, mental health, substance use or other social service experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable. Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and an electronic medical record (EMR).
