Mental Health Therarpist
CRCSI is hiring a full time Mental Health Therapist to provide group therapy at our New Directions K-12 Private Academic School and Child Partial Hospitalization Program.
Job Role and Responsibilities
- Position: Group Therapist-Mental Health Therapist
- Location: Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program – New Directions
- Core Duties:
- Conducting daily group therapy sessions for assigned caseloads.
- Implementing behavioral and individual interventions in the classroom according to each child’s treatment plan.
- Aiming to alleviate mental health symptoms to improve functioning in home, community, and school settings.
- Providing services to children in grades K-12.
Program Goals
- Therapeutic Environment: Helping children and adolescents receive mental health treatment while completing educational goals.
- Preventive Care: Striving to keep children out of higher levels of care and prevent inpatient psychiatric hospitalization and Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) placements.
- Step-Down Services: Serving as a step-down from inpatient hospitals or RTFs to shorten stays in higher levels of care.
- Educational Support: Operating a Pennsylvania Department of Education Licensed Private Academic School for students from surrounding school districts.
Schedule
- Typical Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. No evenings, overnights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a human service field.
Experience: One year mental health experience preferred
Other Requirements: PA State Criminal, Child Abuse Certification, and FBI Clearances
