Current School-Based Position Available:
Licensed Social Worker or License-Eligible LPC for Lead School-Based Outpatient Therapist – LSW or LAPC-eligible required 12 Month Position, anticipated start date February 10, 2025.
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job is responsible for the typical school-based therapist duties and continues to act in the role of school-based therapist providing direct patient care for 60% of their time. The remaining 40% of time is spent providing supervision for assigned School Based employees, with responsibilities including providing the day to day support, resources, and oversight of School Based Outpatient (SB OP) Therapists.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all of the duties of the usual SB OP Therapist job description.
- Trains new SB OP Therapists in best practice model and provides ongoing education and on-site clinical support to SB OP Therapists and other members of the School Based team.
- Assists School Based Program Manager with performance evaluations of SB OP Therapists.
- Conducts progress note audits monthly for all SB OP Therapists and assist the SB Program Manager with end-of-year reports.
- Facilitates monthly SB OP Therapists group and individual therapy and productivity supervisions and maintains records of these.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling/psychology
- 2-5 years relevant experience with behavioral and/or mental health
- LSW/LCSW or LAPC-eligible/LPC
Preferred
1-3 years’ experience in school-based behavioral or mental health services
