Mental Health Therapist
Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. is hiring a full time Mental Health Therapist/Mental Health Professional to work with our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) in Uniontown, PA.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a personalized care approach for adults aged 18 and older, designed to reduce or eliminate mental illness symptoms, prevent recurrence, promote independent living within the community, and relieve the family's caregiving burden. What sets ACT apart is its integration of psychiatry, psychology, nursing, addiction treatment, social work, and psychosocial rehabilitation into a cohesive team of professionals. This multidisciplinary team collaborates to deliver highly individualized treatment, rehabilitation, and support services directly in individuals' homes and communities.
As part of the ACT team, you will have ample support from the Director, Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, and other bachelor and master's level clinicians specializing in vocation, housing, drug and alcohol, etc.
Our ACT team starts each morning with an in-depth assessment of each client, so all team members are up to date on the latest treatments, successes, and struggles of each client. This position is a Monday to Friday position with standard working hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. On call rotation is part of the schedule. Employees are expected to meet with clients in their homes or community locations to provide individual and group therapy.
Qualifications for Mental Health Therapist
Education: Master’s Degree in Mental Health Related Field
Experience: 1-year experience in related field
Certification: None Required
Other Requirements:
PA State Clearance
Child Abuse Clearance
FBI clearance,
ACT 31 training
Valid Driver’s License
Pass motor vehicle record background checks, as requested by employer
