Job Summary: Responsible for a smooth running of the dining room for residents, proper etiquette of service execution, ensure the “to go” deliveries, resident charges, and salad bar presentation. To ensure that safety is met for residents and staff at all times and proper sanitation guidelines are met at all times.
We are currently hiring Part Time Hostess/Servers to work in our Dining Room. Hours of work are from 4pm-8pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and seating residents and guests promptly, cheerfully and courteously.
- Ensuring all tables are properly prepared for meal service.
- Monitors seating flow of the dining room to ensure prompt and courteous dining service.
- Taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Assisting in busing and resetting tables.
- Ensuring safety and proper handling of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Providing quick, efficient, and pleasant delivery of food.
- Maintains nightly check list ensuring all closing duties are completed correctly.
- Ensuring that quality standards and service are being delivered.
- Demonstrates understanding of infection control practices (hand washing and personal hygiene).
Ideal candidate will have great customer service skills and have a genuine compassion for the elderly.
