What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranger/Starter position at Chestnut Valley Golf Course?
Join our team as a Golf Ranger / Starter. We are looking for seasonal full and part time employees.
This position is a dual purpose role. Must have extensive golf knowledge and preference given to persons who have worked as a Ranger or Starter at a golf course. Could be asked to perform both tasks during our normal course of business. Assist with opening and closing golf pro shop in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Starters- Keep arriving golfer and groups on schedule for their assigned tee times, and as time allows and directed works Rangers duties - Helps maintain the pace of play for any given day. Also collect trash, repair divots, and fix ball marks as needed. Cleans bathrooms on course daily.
Maintain a professional, clean and organized cart. Provide courteous customer service to guests at all times. Outside tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Employees of Chestnut Valley Golf Course receive the benefit of a single membership while employed in good standing. All rangers will be required to work at least 1 weekend shift each month on a rotating basis, Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun shifts.
