Service Advisor Job Description
Summary Description:
Assigns and gives work directions to employees in the service department.
Advises and recommend changes and improvements to the supervisor. Assists in the processing of repair for customer pay internal and warranty work. Acts as the service and parts manager when supervisor is away from the dealership.
Manage the activities with day-to-day operations. Keeps supervisor up to speed with employee and customer concerns.
Major Duties and Responsibility:
· Assigns jobs and work according to their skills and knowledge.
· Assign re-conditioning for used units and set up for new units and equipment.
· Prepare & review all repair orders. All repair orders need to be complete. Name and addresses, year, make and model, complete vin. #, email address and phone number. Ask for best day time number to be reached at. Make sure you identify customer primary concern.
· RO’S on older aged units ( non-current) with estimated work to be done on customers primary concern. Advisor must collect 50% of labor/part up front.
· Promote loyalty, customer satisfaction, goodwill. Protect dealerships image.
· Stage units for technicians. Once work is completed, put finished unit in completed row.
· Inspect unit for quality control before customer picks unit up. Clean, make sure work meets customer satisfaction.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees.
· Perform other duties and functions as directed by management in line with store goals and objectives.
· Greet customers immediately in a friendly and courteous manner.
· Track number of RO’S daily. RO’s billed, RO’s picked up, RO’s with ordered parts, track status of parts ordered. WIP
· Daily goal for number of hours 16.5
· Track daily numbers, work billed, work in progress, work completed and picked up.
· The monthly goal is 45760.00 in labor gross.
· Maintain up to date technical training for you and staff.
· Be early, flexible and available for scheduling.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
