POSITION TITLE: HEAD VARSITY SOFTBALL COACH
LOCATION: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser High School
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate for this opportunity will oversee all aspects of the CW Girls’ softball program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, budgeting, organizing, recruiting, student-athlete retention, contributing to the growth & development of the overall student, and involvement with the direction of the youth softball program. The district will provide the necessary resources to build a successful and sustainable high school girls' softball program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work and communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and the community; Excellent organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to teach and develop the fundamentals of the sport; Knowledge of and adherence to WIAA & CWASD rules and regulations; & Experience working with school-age students. Previous experience as a high school head coach is preferred.
