The Resort is looking for a dynamic and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. The Banquet Captain will oversee and coordinate banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead banquet staff during events, including servers, bartenders, and setup crew.
- Ensure event setup aligns with client specifications and company standards.
- Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details, timelines, and service expectations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest requests and resolving any issues promptly.
- Monitor food and beverage service, ensuring quality presentation and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with event planners, chefs, and management to execute seamless events.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or damages.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet operations, hospitality, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
