Bartender
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age and legally able to work in the U.S.
Must have customer service skills and experience working in fast paced environment
Willing to learn and desire to reach goals as a member of a team
Applicants must obtain Serv-Safe Alcohol certification within 14 days of hire and before working independently on the bar.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and willing to stock/ change kegs if necessary
Scheduling is done through HotSchedules – must have internet/ app access for this feature.
Must have a positive attitude and reliable transportation to and from work. – Hours are tentative and you will be responsible to attend for the full shift (until event is over, unless otherwise determined by Bar Manager)
Job Description
Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced manner.
Safely serve guests- without overserving, and ensuring that guests are 21 years of age by checking ID
Directly interacting with customers, handling cash, and credit card transactions, and fulfilling mobile orders
Work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction while under the supervision of bar manager and general manager.
Prepare cocktails, pour beer from tap, knowledge of beer, wine and liquor that we offer at the theater
Delegate tasks to barback- Ex: prepare a stock list for the shift
Cut fruit, prepare juices for the bar
Maintain cleanliness of the bar, and the stock areas
Maintain proper personal hygiene, and report to work in a professional manner dressed in uniform. (Black pants or Jeans, and Black Chevalier T-Shirt, Black shoes.) Long hair should be kept back to prevent contamination, Perform Hand Hygiene between guests, and handling money.
Bar Set up and clean up in conjunction with the barback.
When no barback is present, bartenders will assume the attached responsibilities of the barback position
BARBACK
Job Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Arrive for shift ready to work at scheduled time
Arrive in full uniform (Jeans or Black pants with sneakers and Black Chevalier T-Shirt)
Fill ice bins / wells prior to bartender arrival
Fill juice bottles and set up at bar stations, cut fruit for shift
Set up bars with bar mats, cups, fruit, juice, and ice
Ensure & maintain cleanliness of working and stock areas
Set up and break down of bar areas before and after shift (Clean, wipe bars down, stock cups, straws, napkins, bar mats etc. Break down includes washing of dishes, taking out and replacing trash bins throughout show,
Fulfill all stock requests at bartenders request in timely fashion.
Perform janitorial services throughout shift (Cleaning of spills, and waste throughout theater.)
Perform monthly liquor/ bar inventory as needed
Maintain organization of stock areas, bars and walk-in cooler. Make note of stock that is running low, and report to bar manager for ordering purposes.
Accept and put away deliveries as needed (both on show days and non- show days)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
