What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Specialist position at Chevo Consulting?
CHEVO is hiring an experienced Contracts Specialist to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction and to become a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to Federal Government Contract Management, including pre-award and post-award acquisition and contract management support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide procurement support for the planning and execution of a major IT program
- Participate in working groups for the development of contract strategies
- Provide support in the preparation of procurement briefings, PowerPoint presentations, meeting minutes, reports, and other materials
- Assist with creating and updating documentation to ensure procurement packages contain all required documents to meet client’s requirements
- Coordinate with the COR to ensure all documentation is complete prior to submission to the procurement office
- Prepare the Procurement Requests using the client’s contract package process and PRISM
- Coordinate with the COR to assist with responding to the procurement offices inquiries regarding the documentation and provide updates as needed.
