What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Program Evaluation Analyst position at Chevo Consulting?
Chevo Consulting is hiring a Junior Program Evaluation Analyst to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to a Federal Government Program Analysis and Evaluation (PA&E) related to the Federal Budget process. This will be a hybrid work environment opportunity, with client site located in Vienna VA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides analysis, strategies, and recommendations on PA&E processes and policies.
- Assist in drafting and updating policy and directive documents supported by applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Analyzes “as is” processes across the agency and provides activities and timelines.
- Assist in designing “to be” processes that supports program analysis and evaluation functions.
- Provides analysis for information and data captured from the various program analysis and evaluation processes, including DHS Strategic Review, GPRAMA performance reporting, and Evidence Act evaluation cycle.
- Assist with the development of program evaluation training sessions for federal staffs at all levels across the Agency.
- Provides support on program evaluation and research methods and analytical approaches to support policy development.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of federal government experience in Program Evaluation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a social science or appropriate quantitative field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior program experience working in DHS and or CISA
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $98,000
