About You

Ideally, you have prior experience in an automotive dealership and thrive in managing complex processes.

Location
This role will primarily office out of our centralized business office in The Colony, with occasional on-site work at our Corsicana dealership.
Responsibilities
Manage the financial and accounting systems
Manage the daily operations of the accounting function, including cashiers and receptions at the dealership(s)
Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing
Reconcile the bank accounts for the dealership(s) on a daily basis
Complete all required reports for the corporate office on a regular basis
Prepare monthly budgets and financial statements
Oversee and assist in all insurance claims
Review all financial statements and ledgers, and work with management team to clear up any discrepancies
Assist in preparing and completing all month end procedures
Prepare all taxes and filing forms with the government (state and local)
Together with owners and officers, meet with dealership department managers to regularly review business matters and develop plans to increase profitability
Ensure all human resources and payroll functions are operational and work cooperatively with the corporate office to handle employee issues as needed
Ensure required HR training is completed
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous automotive dealership experience required
Knowledge of, or commitment to learn, all of the desks within the business office.
Strong communications, customer service, leadership and organizational skills
Excellent analytical ability
High school diploma is necessary; college or advanced degree preferred
Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications or the equivalent
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as necessary.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Occasional on-site work at our Corsicana dealership.
