Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming environment will be key to enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Balancing and closing out drawer at night.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers.
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling is preferred.
• Ability to perform product demos confidently to showcase features and benefits.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
• Proven skills in upselling and selling products to meet customer needs.
• Familiarity with operating cash registers and processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong supervisory skills for overseeing team members when necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
