What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2024-2025 Finance Development Program Analyst (Previous Intern) position at chevron?
Started in 1977, the Finance Development Program (FDP) is an accelerated rotational program for career-minded individuals with leadership potential. The 24-month program consists of four six-month assignments in various business segments and functional accounting & finance teams across Chevron’s global footprint and value chain.
As a member of the FDP, you will be part of a select community with a long-standing history of success – you’ll receive strong support from both Program alumni and Finance leaders. You will strengthen your financial skills, make a direct and meaningful impact on the organizations where you work, and interact with all levels of management.
Assignments showcase the complexities of the energy industry and allow program members to creatively solve real business problems and optimize processes. Program members will also have opportunities to learn about and apply new digital technologies (i.e. Microsoft Power products, dashboards, data analytics) to enable better, faster decision making.
Historical assignments have been in Upstream Exploration & Production, Midstream, Downstream & Chemicals, Treasury, Controllers, Audit, Supply & Trading, and Technology. Assignments are primarily domestic with some international locations available.
Outside of their work groups, program members benefit from trainings, social events, and networking with Chevron Finance leaders, Program members and alumni.
At Chevron, we believe that you drive your career. As your experience increases, so will your opportunities and career paths. Visible in every aspect of your rotation is Chevron’s commitment to diversity & inclusion.
