Chevy Chase Club is excited to welcome an experienced and passionate Head Dive Coach for the upcoming summer season of 2025. As a leader of our dynamic diving program, you will help shape a rewarding and competitive environment for our dive team while fostering skill development, teamwork, and a love for the sport.
Position Details
Position Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (Summer)
Start Date: June 1, 2025
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation:
Salary: $7,500 – $9,000 for the season
Additional Earnings: 75% commission on lessons
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert coaching in dive techniques, strategies, and overall performance improvement.
- Plan and oversee team practice, meets, and individual training sessions.
- Maintain and utilize dive meet management software effectively.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Collaborate with team members, parents, and club staff to ensure a successful season.
- Lead with strong organizational and communication skills to manage team logistics and schedules.
Candidate Qualities
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Leadership experience and a proven track record in coaching diving teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of diving techniques and regulations.
- Proficiency with dive meet software and database management.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
