Job Title: Maintenance Technician III
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Chewy's Fulfillment Center in Lewisberry, PA.
About the Role:
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility conveyance systems and repair warehouse equipment.
- Fix, maintain, and repair rack systems, work at heights, perform battery changes, housekeeping, plumbing, metal fabrication, and carpentry tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment operates accurately and safely.
- Conduct periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule.
- Inspect conveyor systems, air systems, shipping, packing equipment, and building systems.
- Tasks may include plumbing, painting, rack repair, cleaning, general carpentry skills, and metal fabrication.
- Change batteries and repair batteries and chargers as needed.
- Investigate problems and fix various conveyor and packaging systems.
- Complete repair orders and parts usage records.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of technical experience in distribution or manufacturing environments.
- 480/3 phase electrical and low voltage AC/DC experience.
- Experience with building systems such as fire suppression, air compressors, power distribution.
- Understanding of PLCs and ladder logic.
- Standard I/O device knowledge.
- Conveyor experience preferred.
- Mechanical experience.
- Powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Windows/PC experience.
- HVAC knowledge.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience.
- Ability to instruct and mentor others.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime.
