Job Overview :
Chewy is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Associate Director of Performance Marketing (PM) Strategy with expertise in automation, AI integration, and project management to join our team. This role is integral to our performance marketing strategy, driving initiatives that improve customer engagement, optimize campaigns, and elevate the overall pet parent experience.
In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, data science, product, and performance marketing, to envision AI-driven solutions and automation in our marketing workflows. You'll own working with our marketing science and operations (MSO) teams to develop the roadmap for integrating tools that boost efficiency, personalization, and return on investment across digital channels, advancing Chewy's efforts to automate bidding, campaign and content creation, ensuring Chewy remains a leader in data-driven customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Work with MSO to craft and implement innovative marketing strategies that leverage automation and AI for enhanced targeting, personalization, and performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, channel leads and cross-functional teams to align marketing goals with Chewy's broader business objectives, driving increased customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Analyze market trends and new technologies in AI and automation to find opportunities that can be adopted to improve Chewy's marketing capabilities.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Pay Range
149,000-$245,000 USD
