Brand owners and advertisers get to showcase their product offerings in the front row for their target audience (proud pet owners) and maximize their reach.Come be part of the Sponsored Ads team’s impactful journey at Chewy!What You'll Do : Lead the strategy, design, execution, system configuration and operations of the business's marketing databases, marketing automation solutions, ML operations and tagging & tracking infrastructureManage the above-mentioned teams by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performanceMonitor daily operations of our MarTech stack, including our data infrastructure, Tableau automated reports, AI platform and automation solutionsWork with cross-functional stakeholders in defining and documenting company-wide single sources of truth to ensure consistent and high-quality dataReconcile data issues and alerts between various systems, finding opportunities to innovate and drive improvementsRemain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practicesWhat You'll Need : 10 years of data engineering experience with 5 years of experience in working with marketing data engineering5 years of experience leading and mentoring. 3 years professional Python experienceExperience in building and successfully executing Data Infrastructure and technology roadmapsPrior experience as a Data Architect is a big plusHands on experience in building scalable data solutions using big data technologiesStrong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and operationsStrong expertise in SQL and performance tuning of ETL pipelinesExperience with ML practices and production systemsUnderstanding of link tracking, pixels / tags, Google Analytics, and marketing attributionWorking knowledge of Tagging and Instrumentation using Google Tag ManagerStrong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to coordinate and manage projects across several teamsAbility to convince leadership on big ideas related to data and technology and drive implementationHeavy experience in cloud computing technology like AWS, Google Cloud, etc.Experience in Tableau, Looker, or similar visualization / business intelligence platformSnowflake, Vertica, Postgres, etc.MarTech KnowledgePosition may require travelBonus : Python library build and execution following OOP conceptsExposure to Apache Airflow or other DAG frameworksAmazon's SageMakerMedia Mix Modelling and Marketing Attribution hands-on experienceCompensation & Benefits : Our salary range for a Data Engineer II position is $134,500.00 - $214,500.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
